Chillin in Kemah

Well I am with my parents and we are staying in Kemah until tomorrow. It is good to see them because I have missed them and they're beautiful faces. Three days is definitely not enough but it will have to do. It's a nice present. Tomorrow we are going to Golden Acres Baptist Church where we used to go when we lived here about 15 years ago. Many people are still there from when we lived there so we will be able to see some of them and probably go out to eat with a few. One of my friends should be there too so it won't be just me and a bunch of old people. Not much else to say at the moment. I might be going to Mexico toward the end of the month but nothing is certain yet. Please pray that I may learn Spanish quicker, God would reveal much truth to me, and that I would discern His voice clearer. Love each one of you.

Spirit and Truth

Well I hung out with Jeremiah for a few days. It was good to talk with him and hang out with his team. We helped his chapel and went to classes and went door to door evangelizing and had gospel meetings. It is a very structured atmosphere which is kinda what I grew up with but never have really enjoyed. I definitely understand the importance of planning and organizing, but it has gotten in the way of allowing the Spirit to work. Many times we quench the Spirit by our great scheduling skills and planning talents which is a shame. From a world point of view it is very effective and strategic, but we do not go by the world any longer but from how God perceives it.
One of the good talks I had with Jeremiah was about truth and the Spirit. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship in Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. John 4:23. God showed me that is the kind of worship He desires from all His children but the majority have forsaken one for the other. Pentecostals worship in spirit but lack the truth and Baptists and such worship in truth but leave little room for the spirit. As my good friend Justin Smith knows, there must be a balance. I believe when we worship like this, and I do refer to worship as a lifestyle, then we will see God work greater than we have ever seen. We will see many more miracles, many more saved, and many more revived. I don't really care how you get to this balance, if you approach it from the side of truth or from the side of the spirit or just show up in the middle. It doesn't matter as long as you get there.
My parents are coming in this weekend because my birthday was last Friday but they couldn't come then because of GIC. So it will be good to see them again and spend time with them buying a bunch of stuff for my birthday. Ha. Anyway thank you for the prayers and I love all of ya'll.
