Are You a Poet?

I realize that I haven't written in awhile and I know that all my darling fans are really upset so I will try to do better. The other day in english class we were asked to write about a spot on campus using as much imagery and appealment to senses as we could. So after writing about smelling a guy that forgot to take a shower and the taste of gold fish lodged in the wedges of my teeth and other stuff that made that stuff make sense, my teacher asked for volunteers to read theirs. Another student promptly responded and gave many facts about the place. She gave her advice on how to better it and then asked for another volunteer. Given the fact that it is 8:30 in the morning and it is english class I am not about to respond, but thirty seconds of silence later, I spoke up and read my paragraph. The first thing she asks is, "Are you a poet?" There is no doubt in my mind that I could write better than some of the poetry I have read but in this instant there is no way I can say "yes". If I said yes she would expect great things from me. Emotionals things and such which I cannot produce. So in that split second I blurted out, "No!" That did not phase her though as she went on to talk about the imagery that I used and the mental picture she was able to see and how duly impressed she was. "What?" An english teacher that likes me? Blasphemous! Oh well it can't hurt me.

Had midterms last week. I think I did fairly well on them. I actually got a 105 on the english one so the teacher likes me even more. Cut a guy's hair today. Well it was just buzzing it, but it was not at night so I actually did a good job on it, Andrew. I also did some oxy-fuel gas cutting in welding class in which I produced this masterpiece.

I liked the part about how the guy didnt get your joke about getting his mac on.

But maybe he did, maybe he was using double sarcasm to make it even funnier... Maybe you were the one who didn't get the joke...
